IFST's Technical and Registration Officer, Marjo Kiiveri, describes the importance of volunteers in the food industry, particularly IFST assessors.

It gives me shivers to think of volunteers, these amazing people who are so passionate that they give their time for the benefit of others. The food industry is surrounded by these people. There is awful lot of associations, federations, member organisations, networks, forums and groups which are working for good food cause and involve a lot of volunteer engagement.
