IFR scientists show how Campylobacter exploits chicken 'juice'

A study from the Institute of Food Research has shown that Campylobacter’s persistence in food processing sites and the kitchen is boosted by ‘chicken juice.’

Martha Collison, quarter finalist in the BBC’s Great British Bake Off at the age of 17, is an A-level student in Year 13 studying Food Technology, Maths and Chemistry. She spoke to Melanie Brown about the Bake Off and her plans for the future.
